Abstract
Objective To explore the nursing method for patients with secretory otitis media and dysplasia of the mastoid process. Methods 72 patients with secretary otitis media who were treated in our hospital from September 2010 to September 2012 were selected and randomly allocated to two groups, with 36 in each. Patients in the observation group received nursing intervention, while patients in the control group received regular nursing. Clinical effects between the two groups were compared. Results Effective rate in the observation group was 94.4%, significantly higher than that of 77.8%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);incidence of complications in the observation group was 2.8%(1/36), significantly lower than that of 13.9%(5/36) in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion During the operation for patients with secretory otitis media and dysplasia of the mastoid process, nursing intervention shows significant effects of improving the effective rate of the treatment, reducing complications, and accelerating patients' recovery, which is worthy of clinical promotion.关键词
