Abstract
Objective To analysis the effect of noninvasive positive pressure mechanical ventilation on COPD elderly patients with respiratory failure. Methods 60 COPD elderly patients with respiratory failure were divided into objective group and control group.The control group was used conventional treatment plan and the objective group was additional noninvasive positive pressure mechanical ventilation.The difference of the oxygen content of blood,case fatality rate,treatment cycle time and the lung function indices between the two groups were compared. Results The oxygen content of blood and the lung function indices of the objective group were better than that in the control group(P < 0.05).The case fatality rate of the objective group was lower than that in the control group(P < 0.05). The treatment cycle time of the objective group was less than that in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion It would get a satisfactory effect to use noninvasive positive pressure mechanical ventilation on COPD elderly patients with respiratory failure.关键词
