Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical characteristics of TB for elderly patients and summarize its measures of prevention and control. Methods Clinical data of patients with TB in the research group and control group were analyzed retrospectively. The analysis entailed clinical symptoms, results of laboratory examinations, results of imaging examinations, complications and clinical efficacy. Conclusion was drawn according to statistical analysis of all the acquired data. Results Clinical symptoms of elderly patients in the research group mostly included loss of appetite, shortness of breath, coughing and expectoration,in which42.00% of sputum smear was positive.Lesions mainly distributed in bilateral lungs(71.00%),and incidence of pulmonary cavity reached up to 44.00%.Incidence of complications of cardiovascular diseases, diseases of respiratory system, and hypoproteinemia was all relatively high. After clinical symptomatic treatment, focal absorption rate (83.00%),cavity closure rate (70.45%) and rate of turning negative (83.33%) were all relatively low,but the mortality rate was relatively high (11.00%).All the data were statistically significantly compared to those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Doctors should accurately master the clinical characteristics of TB for elderly patients, and timely provide complete examinations and active treatment after diagnosis for suspected patients,so as to reduce mortality rate and ensure patients' prognosis and life quality.关键词
