摘要
Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical effect and applicable feasibility of improving gummy smile by micro-implant anchorage on posterior teeth aera for the anterior teeth intrusion. Methods The subjects were selected from our hospital from August 2011 to May 2013, which included 39 patients diagnosed to be bimaxillary protrusion with gummy smile and designed pulling out on both sides of the maxillary frist premolar teeth . After treatment, the change between pre operation and post operation was compared and measured through the lateral cephalometrics and photos of smile and profile. Results The patients were treated by miniscrew implants on posterior teeth aera, there was significant change on the alteration of 1-SN and 1-NA (P < 0.01) and decreasing of UL-Sn-Pos and the distance between upper and lower lips (P<0.05). Conclusion It is feasible to use in clinic for miniscrew Implant anchorage on posterior teeth aera for Intruding upper incisors in patients with gummy smile and operation is simple.关键词
