Abstract
Objective To explore the causes, clinical manifestation and outcome of neuropsychiatric symptoms in patients with peritoneal dialysis. Methods During June 2011 to May 2013, 40 cases of peritoneal dialysis patients with neuropsychiatric symptoms were selected as the observation group, 24 cases of peritoneal dialysis patients without neuropsychiatric symptoms were selected as the control group. Analysis of the causes of neuropsychiatric symptoms, compared with two groups of age, dialysis ages, blood pressure and renal function index. Results The common causes of neuropsychiatric symptoms in patients with peritoneal dialysis included poison accumulation, metabolic disorder, dialysis disequilibrium, cerebrovascular accident, nutrient deficiency, drug accumulation etc. The age, dialysis ages, blood pressure level and serum creatinine level of observation group had no difference with the control group (P > 0.05); 35 patients with symptoms relief, and 1 patient died, the mortality rate was 2.5%. Conclusion The causes of neuropsychiatric symptoms in patients with peritoneal dialysis was complex, mainly including poison accumulation, metabolic disorder, dialysis disequilibrium, cerebrovascular accident, we should actively strengthen the treatment of patients's primary disease, feel free to adjust the doses of drug and antibiotics, and promote the patient's outcome.关键词
