摘要
Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of protocatechuic aldehyde on chronic nonbacterial prostatitis and to explore the mechanism of it. Methods Fifty SPF rats were randomly divided into five groups. including Sham-operated group (10),model group (10),qian lie kang group (10),low-dose protocatechuic aldehyde group(10) and high-dose group (10).Building the model with estradiol benzoate.Followed with drug given by lavage administration for 4 weeks.Sham-operated and model group gave the same dose of sodium chloride.After the experiment,detected wet weight of prostate,total number of white blood cells,the density of lecithin body,the content of TNF-αand IL-8 in prostatic tissue homogenate and observed the pathology of prostate tissue. Results Compared with the model group,total number of white blood cells decrease and the density of lecithin body increase in low-dose protocatechuic aldehyde group(P<0.01). The wet weight of prostate, total number of white blood cells, the content of TNF-α and IL-8 in high-dose protocatechuic aldehyde group decrease, the density of lecithin body increase(P < 0.01).Both decrease infiltration of inflammatory cells and interstitial edema in prostate. Conclusion Protocatechuic aldehyde has therapeutic functions on chronic nonbacterial prostatitis in rats,appeared dose-dependent.关键词
