Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of infection control professional nurse in the prevention of venous catheter correlative blood infection in ICU, and summarize experience. Methods 150 patients with indwelling catheter who were admitted by ICU center of our hospital from January 2013 to October 2014 were selected as research subjects. They were equally allocated to observation group and control group with 75 patients in each. The control group was taken care by conventional medical care staff, but the observation group was managed by infection control professional nurses. Infection rate of two groups with different nursing mode was compared. Results The rate of venous catheter correlative blood infection in observation group was 1.3% , which was significantly lower than 5.3% in observation group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Knowledge awareness rate and satisfaction rate of observation group were 97.3% and 98.7% , which was significantly higher than 73.3% and 80.0%in control group, and the differences were both statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Infection control professional nurse can effectively prevent venous catheter correlative blood infection in ICU, which has a significant meaning in patients’recovery.关键词
