Abstract
Objective To investigate the influence of lung function and quality of life of stable COPD patients treated with Integrative Medicine. Methods 122 cases of stable COPD were selected from March 2013 to November 2014 in our hospital. All the patients were divided into the observation group and the control group, 61 cases in each group. The control group were treated with western medicine (salmeterol and fluticasone propionate inhalation powder), while the observation group used integrative medicine (salmeterol and fluticasone propionate inhalation powder capsules promoting blood circulation and lungs combined treatment). The lung function, symptom scores, quality of life of two groups before and after treatment were compared. Results FVC, FEV1, FEV1 / FVC, FEV1%predicted values (%) of the observation group and the control group after treatment were significantly higher than before treatment. The pulmonary function of the observation group after treatment was higher than the control group on the same period. The difference was significant (P < 0.05). TCM syndrome score and SGRQ total score of two groups after treatment were significantly lower than before treatment. Each fraction score of the observation group after treatment were statistically significantly lower than the control group on the same period, the difference was significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Stable COPD patients treated with integrative method is effective, can effectively improve lung function, relieve clinical signs and symptoms, improve the quality of life of patients. It can be used as a good method of treatment in clinical application.关键词
