Perioperative nursing care in excision of pterygium

摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore perioperative nursing care in excision of pterygium. Methods 20 patients who were admitted by ophthalmology of our hospital from January 2013 to January 2014 and received excision of pterygium were selected as research subjects. Comprehensive and holistic nursing care was enforced during perioperative period. Clinical data, psychological status and life quality before and after interference were reviewed. Results 20 cases (27 eyes) were observed under slit-lamp microscope in early period of post operation, and found ocular edema and hyperemia and ophthalmodynia with tears and foreign body sensation. And these symptoms were alleviated after three-dimension. Corneal epithelium was repaired between 1 to 2 weeks, and corneal grafts were all healed at 1 stage without drop, dissolution or fester. Incidence of complications including secondary glaucoma and cataract didn't occur after taking out stitches without rejection reaction or infection, and the corneal grafts survived. The average follow-up visit period was 6 months without any recurrent cases. Scores of HAMD anxiety was significantly reduced and scores of life quality was significantly increased after interference, which was statistically different compared with that before interference (P < 0.05). Conclusion Strengthening perioperative holistic nursing interference in excision of pterygium can significantly improve surgery quality and patients' psychological status, and prevent adverse events, which is worthy of application.关键词
