Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the drug use in the discharged patients undergoing cardiothoracic surgery in a three-A hospital and analyze the existing problems. METHODS:In this retrospective study,the medical records of 605 patients in cardiothoracic surgery department and discharged from this hospital during Jan.-Jun. of 2013 were assigned to surgery group and non-surgery group,with drug use and the non-rational use of drugs analyzed in accordance with Prescription Management Method,Hospital Prescription Review Management Practices (Trial) ,Guiding Principles for Clinical Use of Antibiotics and other related laws and regulations and treatment guidelines. RESULTS:Non-rational use of drugs was noted in a few cases,which manifested as inappropriate indications and off-label use. CONCLUSIONS:The drug use in this hospital was rational on the whole,and the drug use in the surgical group was standard. However,clinicians should strengthen their learning on medication knowledge,meanwhile,the clinical pharmacists should be actively involved in making dosage regimens for patients contributing to the improvement in the level of individualized therapy.关键词
