Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the use of glucocorticoids in outpatient and emergency department of our hospital so as to provide reference for clinical rational use of drugs. METHODS:371 990 outpatient and emergency prescriptions during 2011-2013 period in our hospital were collected for analysis of the use of glucocorticoids with regard to the route of administration,distri-bution of clinical departments,diagnosis of diseases and rationality of drug use. RESULTS:Glucocorticoids were widely used in outpatient departments,accounting for 10.21%,9.64% and 7.58% respectively from 2011 to 2013,and which were used most fre-quently in the department of pediatrics,with rates of 53.59%,48.54% and 46.35% respectively. The glucocorticoids were used chiefly by route of injection,followed by oral administration and inhalation administration,and which were mainly used for treat-ment of respiratory diseases. The irrational prescriptions accounted for 14.75%,11.86%and 9.92%respectively,and the irrationali-ty manifested mainly as incomplete diagnosis and off-label use. CONCLUSIONS:The use of glucocorticoids in the outpatient and emergency department improved year by year;however,abuse of glucocorticoids was still noted,which calls for attention of medi-cal personnel and pharmacists so as to promote rational drug use in clinic.关键词
