Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To discuss the characteristics and matters needing attention in drug use for patients with bronchiecta-sis complicating chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)so as to provide reference for clinical rational use of drugs. METH-ODS:The medication in one patient with bronchiectasis complicating COPD was introduced and the rationality of the medication was evaluated. RESULTS:With rational choice of antibiotics,anti-anaphylaxis therapy,nutritional support,cough-reliving and spu-tum-reducing and bronchial-dilating agents,the patient showed symptom relief and was discharged from hospital with good condi-tion. CONCLUSIONS:Correct prevention and infection control,positive treatment of underlying diseases,maintenance of smooth respiratory passage are the effective measures for treatment of patients with bronchiectasis complicating COPD. Clinical pharmacist’s involvement in the treatment of patients with bronchiectasis complicating COPD can bring their professional expertise into full play and provide better professional service for patients.关键词
