Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the prescriptions of Chinese patent medicine and the irrational use of Chinese patent medicine so as to promote clinical rational use of drugs in Jiangsu Changshu Hospital(“our hospital”) of TCM. METHODS:A total of 12 410 emergency&outpatient/inpatient prescriptions randomly collected in Changshu Hospital of TCM from January to December in 2013 were analyzed retrospectively with regard to the drug utilization data and the rationality in drug use. RESULTS: Irrational use of drugs was noted in a total of 958 prescriptions (7�72%) . CONCLUSIONS:The use of Chinese patent medicine in our hospital was rational on the whole yet it is far from perfect, which thus remains to be further improved.关键词
