Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To explore the review mode on the inpatient prescriptions in hospital so as to promote rational use of drugs. METHODS: The subject of the prescription review was established based on the typical problems, and the inpatient prescriptions sampled from October in 2012 to March in 2014 in Hunan Mawangdui Hospital (“our hospital”) were reviewed. RESULTS: Of the total of 785 inpatient cases reviewed, standard prescription writing was noted in 91�21% and rational use of drugs in 81�78%. The mean age of the elderly patients was 79�80 years;6-47 drugs and 0-28 kinds of injections were used, with an average of 19�03 kinds of drugs and 8�30 kinds of injections used. The antibiotics were used in 39�52% of the patients undergoing aseptic surgery for an average of 2�16 days. CONCLUSIONS: The inpatient drug use is rational on the whole yet the review mode on prescriptions needs to be further improved.关键词
