Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of proton pump inhibitor( PPI) for stress ulcer so as to provide optimal scheme in its clinical application. METHED: The pertinent data between 1998 to 2013 were electronically retrieved from the databases including CNK, WanFang Data and Vip. A total of 192 randomized controlled trials( RCTs) were retrieved, with ineligible RCTs excluded. Meta⁃analysis was performed on the eligible RCTs using RevMan 5�0 software. RESULTS:A total of eight RCTs involving 637 cases of stress ulcer were included in our study. The meta⁃analysis showed that the treatment group was significantly superior to control group in hemostatic efficacy(OR =3�83,95%CI=1�90⁃7�70,P <0�000 2); the pH value of gastric juice in the treatment group was higher than in the control group(MD=1�96,95%CI=1�89⁃2�04,P<0�000 01)and the mean hemostatic time in the treatment group was shorter than in the control group(MD=1�95,95%CI=1�87⁃2�03,P<0�000 01). Adverse drug reactions were noted in neither group. CONCLUSIONS: Treatment of patients with stress ulcer using proton pump inhibitors achieved remarkable efficacy, which thus is worthy of clinical recommendation.关键词
