Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To investigate and analyze the utilization of Chinese patient medicine in Suzhou Yongding Hospital ( hereinafter referred to as“our hospital”) so as to provide scientific reference for rational use of Chinese patient medicine. METHODS:The utilization data of Chinese patent medicine collected in our hospital during 2011⁃2013 period were statistically analyzed in respects of consumption sum, DDDs, DDC using DDDs analysis and pharmacoeconomics. RESULTS:The proportion of Chinese patent medicine for outpatients in our hospital increased year by year, with capsules leading the list. The irrational use of drugs manifested as irrational drug combination, repeated use, improper usage and dosage, prolonged course of drug use etc. CONCLUSIONS:It is important to intensify management on Chinese patient medicine prescriptions so as to promote the rational use of Chinese patent medicines.关键词
