Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the efficacy of diosmin and magnesium sulfate combined with helium -neon laser irradiation therapy in patients with mixed hemorrhoids .METHODS: A total of 102 patients with hemorrhoid receiving external dissection and internal ligation surgery in our hospital between January 2013 and July 2014 were randomized to either control group or observation group of 51 cases each .The patients in the observation group were treated with diosmin, 50%magnesium sulfate solution combined helium-neon laser irradiation , whereas the control group were only given diosmin and 50% magnesium sulfate solution .Surgical wound edema and pain score in the two groups were followed and compared at 2, 4, 6 postoperative days .RESULTS: Surgical wound edema and pain scores at 4 and 6 postoperative days were significant lower in the observation group than in the control group , and the mean time to edema relief and pain relief were also significant less in the observation group than in the control group ( P <0.05 ) . CONCLUSIONS:Diosmin and magnesium sulfate combined with helium neon laser irradiation therapy can effectively relieve the postoperative edema and wound pain and promote rapid recovery of patients with mixed hemorrhoids .关键词
