Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the use of oral hypoglycemic agents in Zhongshan Municipal People's Hospital ( hereinafter referred to as “our hospital”) to provide reference for clinical rational use of oral hypoglycemic agents.METHODS: The use of oral hypoglycemic agents during 2011-2013 was analyzed retrospectively using the defined daily dose method recommended by WHO .RESULTS:The consumption sum and DDDs of oral hypoglycemic drugs in our hospital increased year by year , up from 5.19 million Yuan in 2011 to 11.26 million Yuan in 2013 , and its ratio in total drug consumption sum was also increased year by year , up from 0.90%in 2011 to 1.46% of 2013 . The consumption sum and the DDDs of different oral hypoglycemic agents increased year by year .Sulfonylurea was frequently used oral hypoglycemic agents , and it remained at the first place in DDDs rank .The DDDs of metformin increased year by year;acarbose dominated the first place from 2012 to 2013;the consumption sum and DDDs of the newly introduced sitagliptin were well-synchronized. CONCLUSIONS: During 2011-2013 period, α-glucosidase inhibitor and sulfonylurea drugs dominated the list of the oral hypoglycemic drugs in our hospital .The use of oral hypoglycemic agents in our hospital was rational on the whole .关键词
