Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To analyze the defined daily cost ( DDC ) of antibiotics in Expo Home Outpatient Department of Shanghai Fifth People's Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University ( hereinafter referred to as “our hospital”) so as to provide references for clinical rational use of drug .METHODS:The consumption data of antibiotics from different manufacturers , in different species and different dosage forms from 2010 to 2012 were analyzed using the method of defined daily dose (DDD) and defined daily cost (DDC).RESULTS: Nine categories of antibiotics were used over the three years .In terms of DDC, macrolide drugs took the lead in 2011(64.81 Yuan) and imidazole nitrate drugs ranked the last in 2012(0.09 Yuan).Among the cephalosporins used , cefotiam hydrochloride injection took the lead in DDC ( 120.84 Yuan ) and cefradine tablets ranked the last place ( 2.41 Yuan ); the DDC of all the first-generation cephalosporins were not beyond 9.00 Yuan.Among macrolide drugs , azithromycin dry suspension and injectable azithromycin lactobionate decreased year by year in DDC .In 2012, there only one injection and two oral dosage forms of macrolide drugs available .The DDC of the injection and oral dosage forms of quinolones were lower than that of macrolides . In 2012 , the DDC of levofloxacin sodium chloride injection , levofloxacin tablets and norfloxacin tablets stood at 21.25 Yuan, 1.90 Yuan and 0.77 Yuan, respectively.CONCLUSIONS: From 2010 to 2012 , the DDC of the majority of antimicrobial agents in our hospital assumed declining trend , but the DDC of the same type of drug varied greatly with the difference in dosage forms , doses and manufacturers .关键词
