Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the drug use in outpatient prescriptions in Cancer Prevention & Treatment Center of Sun Yat-sen University ( hereinafter referred to as “our hospital”) so as to promote rational use of drug . METHODS:A total of 3 600 outpatient prescriptions (300 prescriptions collected monthly )were sampled in our hospital from October 2012 to September 2013 for review of prescriptions and analysis of the problems .RESULTS:Of the 3 600 prescriptions , 283 were irrational ones , accounting for 7.86%.Of the irrational prescriptions , 197 ( 69.61%) were nonstandard including nonstandard generic name , lacking of items or failing to write plainly the diagnosis , and 86 (30.39%) were inappropriate in indications , usage and dosage .CONCLUSIONS: It is important to strengthen standardized management on prescriptions in hospital to improve irrational use of drugs .关键词
