Abstract
OBJECTIVE:ABTRACT To investigate the management measures taken in Peking University Shenzhen Hospital ( hereinafter referred to as “our hospital”) during special rectification on antibiotic use and the outcomes achieved, and discuss how to achieve effective intervention on the irrational antibiotic use so as to promote clinical rational use of antibiotics.METHODS:Based on the consumption data of antibiotics during 2011-2014 period retrieved from Hospital Information System plus the data such as the number of outpatients and inpatients, the antibiotic use in our hospital before and after implementation of Special Rectification Activities on Clinical Antibiotic Use were analyzed meanwhile the outcome of the Special Rectification Activities were evaluated.RESULTS:The rate of antibiotic use in the outpatients decreased continuously to 12.24%and the proportion of antibiotic prescriptions in the total was on the lower side;the AUD ( antibiotic use density) improved greatly, down from 76.06 DDD/(100 persons per day) to 42.2 DDD/(100 persons per day);all the antibiotic use indicators have been improved greatly, achiving satisfactory outcome on antiobiotic use.CONCLUSIONS: In special rectification activities on antibiotic use, it is important to further improve the systems and indicators on the clinical use of antibotics, strengthen training in clinical departments about the rational use of antibiotics, enhance physicians'awareness on antibiotic use, take the advanced management measures on hospital infection control taken abroad as reference to promote rational use of antibotics in our hospital both in connotation technology and in form.关键词
