Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the safety and management measures of clinical rational use of western medicines.METHODS:The of western medicine prescriptions of the patients admitted to Lanzhou First People's Hospital (hereinafter referred to as “our hospital”) between Dec.2012 and Dec.2014 (90 cases before and 90 after implementation of the management measures) were randomly selected from a total 97,865 cases for comparative analysis regarding the use of western medicines and then effective supervision and management measures aimed at the use of western medicine injections and the problems lie in the drug use were carried out .RESULTS:After the implementation of management measures on the safety of clinical rational use of drugs, the proportions of irrational administration of drugs, irrational drug combinations, repeated drug use and the abuse of antibiotics were significantly lower than before the implementation, and the differences were all statistically significant ( P <0.05 ) .CONCLUSIONS: In clinical practice, it is important for hospital to strictly implement rational drug use regulations, establish rational drug use system, and use drugs in accordance with package inserts with the precondition of ensuring patients'life and health.关键词
