新辅助化疗治疗大肠癌的近期疗效观察
Short-term Efficacy of Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy for Colorectal Cancer

Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the short-term efficacy of neoadjuvant chemotherapy for colorectal cancer and study its association with patients’ age, tumor size and pathological size.METHODS:A total of 264 patients with colorectal cancer treated in Heyang County Hospital from Mar.2012 to Mar.2015 were randomly assigned into either observation group or control group of 132 cases each.The patients in the control group were treated with routine chemotherapy while those in the observation group were treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy.The two groups were compared with regard to clinical efficacy.RESULTS: The effective rate in the observation group was slightly higher than in the control group yet the difference was not statistically significant[72.73%(96/132) vs.65.91%(87/132), P>0.05];the total effective rates for different age groups were similar, and the total effective rate in different age group in the observation group was slightly higher than in the control group, but the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05).Larger tumor size was associated with lower effective rate, with the total effective rate in the patients with different tumor size in the observation group was slightly yet insignificantly higher than in the control group(P>0.05).Of the two groups, ulcerative type of colorectal cancer was common, and its total effective rate was lower than that of the mass type of colorectal cancer but higher than that of the infiltrating type of colorectal cancer, and the total effective rates of the different pathological type of patients in the observation group were slightly yet insignificantly higher than in the control group ( P >0.05 for all ) .CONCLUSIONS: Neoadjuvant chemotherapy can improve the effective rate in treatment of cancer patients and the effective rate is independent of patient’ s age, tumor size and pathological type, which thus is worthy of clinical recommendation.关键词
