Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the efficacy of Tanreqing injection for senile pulmonary infection and explore the clinical nursing care for the patients with senile pulmonary infection.METHODS: Between January 2014 and January 2015 , a total of 50 senile patients with pulmonary infection were randomized to either observation group receiving Tanreqing plus routine therapy or control group( routine therapy alone) of 25 cases each.The clinical curative efficacy and nursing care outcome in the two groups were evaluated.RESULTS: The total effective rate in the observation group was significantly higher than in the control group [88.00%(22/25 vs.64.00%(16/25)],and the difference was statistically significant ( P <0.05 ) .CONCLUSIONS: Treatment of elderly pulmonary infection with routine antibiotic drugs plus Tanreqing injection by atomization inhalation is safe and effective,and greater outcome can be achieved if with proper clinical nursing care.关键词
