Abstract
Objective: To develop a HPLC method for the simultaneous determination of icariin and epimedin C in gusongbao granules. Methods: Elite Hypersil ODS2 column (250 mm × 416 mm, 5 μm) was adopted with ace-tonitrile -0.1% phosphoric acid solution (25∶75) as mobile phase, the flow rate was 1 mL/min, and the wavelength was at 270 nm. Results: The linear ranges of epimedin C and icariin were 0.216 ~ 4.303 μg and 0.042 ~ 0.831 μg (r = 0.999 8) respectively. The average recoveries of epimedin C and icariin were 98.53% ~ 101.92% and 97.32% ~103.69% , and their contents were 9.48 ~ 18.91 mg/g and 1.60 ~ 3.62 mg/g, respectively. Conclusion: This method is simple, quick, sensitive and reliable with a good reproducibility. It can be used for the determination of epimedin C and icariin in gusongbao granules.关键词
