Abstract
Gout and hyperuricemia is a risk factor for various cardiovascular , cerebrovascular and metabolic dis-eases and can cause the onset and deterioration of hypertension , renal arteriosclerosis stones , uric acid nephropathy and diabetes . Gout Suppressant as a group of medicines can reduce the level of uric acid by inhibiting the synthe-sis of uric acid and promoting the excretion or decomposition of uric acid , or to control joint inflammation and gout attacks by inhibiting granulocyte invasion . The reasonable medication and pharmaceutical care are of great impor-tance . In this paper a review was made on the drug therapy and pharmaceutical care of gout based on data re-search of related literature at home and abroad in recent years,as well as the guidelines for diagnosis and treatment. Pharmacist should establish the target for gout treatment , select drugs according to the staging of gout and treat ac-tively the patient with gout complications . Intervention was given according to the monitoring points such as avoid-ing use of the drugs which may elevate uric acid level and the forbidden drugs during acute exacerbation , and hy-dration and alkalization treatments , thus the role of pharmacist in medical treatment is presented .关键词
