Abstract
Objective:To study the curative effects of osteoporosis by zhuangguzhitong formula anhydrous ethanol extract A position through building an osteoporosis model of ovariectomized female rats.Methods:Sixty SD female rats about 250 g each were selected and divided into normal group, control group, model group, zhuang-guzhitong formula group, and zhuangguzhitong formula and anhydrous ethanol extract A group based on the rat weights. All groups were given medicines 5 days later after taking out stitches and lasted for 13 weeks. The cura-tive effects were evaluated from bone mineral density, bone biomechanics, serum levels of estrogen(E2), parathy-roid hormone(PTH), calcitonin(CT), osteocalcin(BGP)levels, and trabecular bone morphology.Results:The bone mineral density of zhuangguzhitong formula and anhydrous ethanol extract A group was significantly higher than those of model group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05). The maximum stress and bending resistance of the shinbone of zhuangguzhitong formula and anhydrous ethanol extract A group was significantly stronger than those of model group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05). Compared with the model group, E2 of zhuangguzhitong and anhydrous ethanol extract A group was significantly higher, while PTH, CT, and BGP were significantly lower, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:Zhuangguzhitong formula and anhydrous ethanol extract A position can effectively improve the bone toughness, improve the ability of bone to resist external shocks and proved a good curative effect on osteoporosis.关键词
