Analysis of Research Power of Library and Information Subjects of TCM Colleges and Universities During 1994 and 2014
摘要
Abstract
ObjectiveTo analyze research power of library and information subjects of 23 TCM colleges and universities during 1994 and 2014.Methods “China Academic Journal Network Publishing Database” and “Chinese Citation Database” of CNKI were set as statistical platform. Bibliometric analysis method was used to analyze the total amount of articles about library and information subjects, the amount of articles of core journals, h-index, highly cited papers and high-yield authors.Results The research power of library and information subjects of libraries of the 23 TCM university was uneven. The general quantity and quality of articles needed to further improvement. The researches on library and information subjects of TCM colleges and universities mainly focused on the information retrieval, information literacy, reference services and resource allocation, which were closely related to library services.Conclusion Libraries of TCM colleges and universities should pay more attention to research work relevant to library and information subjects, emphasize the cultivation of core researchers and research teams. Meanwhile, librarians should attach importance to cultivation of research power and lay emphasis on researches on integration of library and imformation subjects and other TCM subjects.关键词
