摘要

Abstract

On the method of numerical simulation, the simulation of two -dimensional flow fields in volute of centrifugal pump is carried out by the software of FLUENT combines the finite-volume method and the Navier-Stokes equations.The result indicates that, as the distance increases between the wall of volute and impeller, the volute is affected smaller.Low pressure area exists at the wall of volute outlet, this would result in the flow field of centrifugal pump energy loss.The numerical simulation method can provide a theoretical basis for designing and optimization.
