The research progress of cystic vestibular schwannoma

摘要
Abstract
Cystic vestibular schwannoma presents a therapeutic dilemma.Observation and radiotherapy are not recommended for these tumors.As to surgery,cystic vestibular schwannoma also has worse prognosis because of the difficulty in preserving an adequate subarachnoid dissection plane.But the results of other recent studies have not supported above conclusions.Some studies found a subset of cystic vestibular schwannoma presented with fluid-fluid level,indicating intratumoral hemorrhage.Here,we reviewed the studies on cystic vestibular schwannoma and discussed its surgical outcomes and the possible mechanism of peritumoral adhesion and formation of fluid-fluid level,and its implication for surgical strategy.关键词
