Abstract
Objective To investigate traffic speed of ambulances in Fujian province, and explore restraining factors and methods to solve the problems.Methods A cross-sectional survey on all ambulances of Fujian Emergency Medical Service System was conducted by self-designed questionnaires between 2013 and 2014.Results (1)The average speed of ambulances in Fujian province was (63.91±18.56)km/h. (2)There were statistically significant differences in time(F=3.063,P﹤0.05) and areas(F=2.777,P﹤0.05). The average speed of ambulances at 02:00-04:00 am was faster than those of 10:00-12:00 am, 04:00-06:00 pm and 06:00-08:00 pm (P﹤0.05). (3)The average speed of ambulances in municipal level at 04:00-06:00 pm, 06:00-08:00 pm was slower than rural ones (P﹤0.05). (4) The average speed of ambulances in east of Fujian province at 00:00-02:00 am was slower than those in south and middle of Fujian province (P﹤0.05).Conclusions Overall the traffic speed of ambulances in Fujian province was good, which can fulfil the citizen’s basic need for health service.关键词
