Summarization and Analysis on Related Articals of Bloodletting Therapy Published in Science Citation Index (SCI)

Abstract
Related articals of bloodletting therapy published in Science Citation Index ( SCI ) from 1998 to 2011 are summarized and analyzed ,and the aim is to make the progress for bloodletting both at home and abroad and to provide a reference for future related documents .Search the Web of science database , then these related articals are summarized and analyzed from various aspects of article numbers , countries , subject categories , languages, impact factors, literature types, publication sources, disease categories and article contents .About 39 related articals are searched by using “bloodletting” or “pricking blood therapy” as the keywords , results show that the impact factor is not high (only 9 articals’ IF are more than 5), the disease category is less;the curative effect is uncertain;the mechanism is not clear .Therefore , bloodletting therapy needs to be further re-searched and developed .关键词
