Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of round -sharp needle combined with paraffino thera-py for treating musculi piriformis syndrome ( MPS ) .Methods:50 patients with MPS were randomized into a treatment group ( n=25 ) and a control group ( n=25 ) .The treatment group was administered with round -sharp needle and paraffino therapy while the control group was given with paraffino therapy only .Pain scores and curative effects were observed .Results:Pain scores in both groups were decreased significantly after treat-ment.Pain score in treatment group was superior to that in the control group after treatment;the total effective rate of treatment group was higher than that of control group .Conclusion:Round-sharp needle combined with paraffino therapy has a better therapeutic effect on MPS .关键词
