Abstract
Objective:To observe the efficacy and safety of nerve growth factor of rats by warm acupuncture and acupoint injection for the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy ( DPN) .Methods:40 patients with diabetes peripheral neuropathy were randomly divided into two groups .20 cases in control group received normal insulin or oral medications to control blood sugar and muscle injection , a cobalt amine 1/d;Treatment group based on the therapy in the control group was given nerve growth factor with warm acupuncture point injection .The course was for 30 d.Visual analogue scale ( VAS) was to evaluate the curative effect and electromyography was to test MNCV and SNCV of common peroneal nerve .Results:The total effective rate in the treatment group was signifi-cantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05), and in the treatment group the nerve conduction veloci-ty was significantly higher than that in the control group ( P<0 .05 ) .Conclusion:Rat nerve growth factor with warming acupuncture point nerve injection for the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy is safe and effec -tive.关键词
