Abstract
Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of retaining -needling and lifting methods combined withacupoint injection for refractory facial paralysis.Meth ods:60 patients with intractable facial paralysis were randomlydivided into a treatment group and a control group, and each group had 30 patients.The treatment groupwas given retaining -needling and lifting methods combined with acupoint injection.The control group was giventhe traditional acupuncture treatment.Both groups were treated for 6 courses(6 weeks).The therapeuticeffects were evaluated by using the House -Brackmann scale(Regional Score) and Facial Disability Index(FDI)scale.Results:The total effective rate was 83.3% in the treatment group,and it was 66.7% in the controlgroup, and the differences were statistically significant(P <0.05).The treatment group had a markedlyhigher FDL scale compared with the control group (P <0.05).Conclusion:Retaining -needling and liftingmethods combined with acupoint injection has a marked effect on refractory facial paralysis.关键词
