Abstract
Objective:To investigate the therapeutic effects of twelve penetration needling combined with the fire needle therapy on hypermyotonia after ischemic stroke.Methods:60 patients with hypermyotonia after ische-mic stroke were randomly divided into a treatment group(30 patients)and a control group(30 patients).In the treatment group,the patients were treated with twelve penetration needling combined with the fire needle thera-py.In the control group,the patients were treated with routine acupuncture.The modified Ashworth spasm score and the hemiplegic limb function Fugl-Meyer score were assessed in the two groups before the treatment and after four weeks’treatment.Results:After the treatment,the modified Ashworth spasm score and Fugl-Meyer score improved more significantly in the treatment group than those in the control group (P<0.01).Conclu-sion:The twelve penetration needling combined with the fire needle therapy can significantly reduce the hyper-myotonia after stroke and enhance the activity of hemiplegic limb function,which is worth clinical popularization.关键词
