Therapeutic Observation on Acupuncture Combined with Nimodipine for Mild Cognitive Impairment after Cerebral Infarction

Abstract
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with Nimodipine in the treat-ment of mild cognitive impairment ( MCI) after cerebral infarction.Methods:Seventy-two patients of MCI after cerebral infarction were randomly divided into two groups:a treatment group and a control group, with 36 pa-tients in each group.The treatment group was given Tiaoshen Yizhi acupuncture combined with Nimodipine;while the control group was treated with Nimodipine only.The clinical efficacy was evaluated after three-month successive treatment in both groups.Results:The significantly effective rate was 69.4% and the total effective rate was 91.7%in the treatment group versus 55.6%and 80.6%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, MoCA score of patients was higher than that before treat-ment in both groups, and the increasing score of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0 .05 ) .Conclusion:Tiaoshen Yizhi acupuncture combined with Nimodipine is an effective approach for treating MCI after cerebral infarction.Acupuncture plus Nimodip-ine is more effective than the treatment of Nimodipine only.关键词
