Abstract
Objective:To investigate the efficacy and safety on simple obesity by moving cupping combined with acupoint catgut embedding therapy.Methods:60 cases met the diagnostic criteria of simple obesity were ran-domly divided into a treatment group ( treated by moving cupping combined with acupoint catgut embedding therapy,30 cases) and a control group (treated by acupoint catgut embedding therapy,30 cases), ten days once for the treatment, three times for a course.Efficacy was evaluated after two courses of the treatment.Re-sults:After the treatment, the total efficacy in the treatment group(96.67%) was better than that in the control group(86.67%) .The difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05) .Both groups were inproved in the o-verall efficacy, weight and body mass index,while the treatment group was better than the control group( P<0.05 ) .Conclusion:Moving cupping combined with acupoint catgut embedding therapy can improve the symp-toms and physical signs of simple obesity and is safe.It is an effective treatment for simple obesity and is worthy of clinical application.关键词
