Abstract
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Xingnao Tiaoshen needling therapy with electro-acu-puncture treatment on vascular dementia(VD).Methods:Sixty VD patients were divided into two groups by the random number table.Patients in two groups received the conventional therapy.Besides,the treatment group was intervened by Xingnao Tiaoshen needling method with electro-acupuncture treatment,while the control group was by donepezil HCL.Results:They both had certain curative effects on VD,and the curative effect had a sig-nificant difference according to the scores of both ADL and MMESS in the treatment group compared with those before treatment(P<0.01),and the treatment group was better than the control group .Conclusion:Xingnao Tiaoshen needling method with electro-acupuncture for vascular dementia has a curative effect and the efficacy is distinct and superior to donepezil HCL,which has a great clinical application value .关键词
