Effect of Electroacupuncture Combined with Diode Laser Treatment on T-lymphocyte Subset and Cor related Cytokines in Herpes Zoster

Abstract
Objective:To observe the effect of electroacupuncture combined with diode laser treatment on T-lymphocyte subset and correlated cytokines in herpes zoster and discuss the immune mechanism of preventing and treating herpes zoster.Methods:75 patients with herpes zoster were randomly divided into 3 groups:25 pa-tients in the first treatment group received electroacupuncture treatment;25 patients in the second treatment group received electroacupuncture combined with diode laser treatment;25 patients in the third treatment group received routine medication.All the three groups were treated continuously for 10 days.Besides, 25healthy physical exam persons in the out-patient clinic were recognized as a normal group without any treatment as a reference.Then observe the changes of the peripheral blood CD3, CD4, CD8, CD4 /CD8 and IL-2, IL-4, TNF-αof the patients in three groups after the treatment.Results:Before the treatment, the levels of CD3, CD4, CD4/CD8, IL-2 and TNF-αin three treatment groups were lower than those in the normal group sig-nificantly(P<0.01), but the levels of CD8 and IL-4 were higher than those in the normal group significantly (P<0.01).After treatment, the levels of CD3, CD4, CD4/CD8, IL-2 and TNF-αin the second treatment group were increased significantly and the levels of CD 8 and IL-4 were decreased significantly, which was close to the normal group(P>0 0.5).However, the levels of CD3, CD 4, CD4/CD8, IL-2 and TNF-αhad no significant differences in the first treatment group and the third treatment group compared with those in the normal group( P<0.01) .Conclusion:Electroacupuncture combined with diode laser treatment may regulate the immune system of patients with herpes zoster.关键词
