Acupuncture and Moxibustion for the Treatment of Allergic Rhinitis:A Meta Analysis
摘要
Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of allergic rhi-nitis ( AR) .Methods:Electronic searches of relevant randomized controlled trials ( RCTs) on acupuncture and moxibustion for AR in PubMed, WanFang Data, WeiPu Data and CNKI were performed.Studies were selected based on strict inclusive and exclusive criteria.All reviewed articels were assessed by using Cochrane quality scale.Statistical analysis was performed with RevMan5.0 software.A total of 11 trials involving 26 researches were included.Results:Meta-analysis showed that compared with the medicine group, the acupuncture and moxibustion group had superiority in many aspects such as the total effective rate as well as improvements in re-currence rate, clinical symptom scores and contents of EOS and IgE.Conclusion:Acupuncture and moxibustion have advantages over conventional medicine treatment in the management of AR.More high-quality studies are needed to prove our findings.关键词
