摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate serum carbohydrate antigen 199(CA19- 9) and C- reactive protein levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mel itus (T2DM) after intensive insulin therapy. Methods One hundred and fifteen T2DM patients received intensive insulin therapy, including 46 patients with negative serum CA19- 9 and 69 with positive CA19- 9 at admission. The lev-els of fasting blood glucose(FPG), glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c), total cholesterol(TC), triglyceride(TG), high density lipopro-tein cholesterol(HDL- C), low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL- C) and hypersensitive C- reactive protein (hs- CRP) were de-tected at d2 of admission and the end of intensive insulin therapy. Results The mean serum CA19- 9 levels in positive and negative groups were 68.45±27.73U/ml and 26.85±10.50U/ml, respectively (P<0.05);and there were significant differences in FBG, HbA1c and hs- CRP levels between two groups before treatment. Intensive insulin therapy significantly lowered FBG, HbA1c and hs- CRP levels in both groups and the levels of CA19- 9 in positive group(P<0.05). Serum CA19- 9 was positively correlated with FBG, HbA1c and hs- CRP levels (P<0.05). Conclusion Insulin intensive therapy can control blood glucose effectively and decrease hs- CRP and HbA1c levels in T2DM patients with positive or negative CA19- 9.关键词
