摘要
Abstract
Objective To determine plasma total homocysteine (tHcy) and its relationship with folic acid and vitamin B12 in elder pregnant women with gestational hypertension. Methods Plasma tHcy, serum folic acid and vit B12 level were determined by fluorescence polarization immunoassay (FPIA), ion capture immunoassay (ICIA) and microparticle enzyme immunoassay (MEIA) in 67 elder patients with gestational hypertension (group A), 96 normal age patients with gestational hypertension(group B), 73 normal elder pregnant women (group C) and 152 normal age pregnant women(group D), respectively. Results The mean plasma tHcy levels were(18.05±6.11), (11.18±3.54), (8.21±3.76) and (7.81±3.23)μmol/L in groups A, B, C and D, respective-ly. The serum folic acid levels were (8.34±3.54), (12.36±4.53), (15.54±5.23) and (16.34±5.67)nmol/L in groups A. B, C and D, respectively. The mean serum VitB12 levels were (304.23±75.38), (364.23±89.35), (404.53±92.35) and (421.73±113.55)pmol/L in groups A, B, C and D, respectively. The level of plasma tHcy in group A was the highest in the four groups (P<0.01), but the levels of serum folic acid and vitB12 in group A were the lowest in four groups(P<0.01). The levels of plasma tHcy in group B were higher, but serum folic acid and vitB12 levels were lower than those in group C and group D (both P<0.01). Correlation analysis showed that plasma tHcy was negatively correlated with serum folic acid and vitB12 in groups A and B (r=- 0.6372、- 0.5747, P<0.01);and it was more significantly in group A(r=- 0.7653、- 0.6843, P<0.01). Conclusion The levels of plasma tHcy in elder pa-tients with gestational hypertension are significantly increased, while the levels of serum folic acid and vitB12 are significantly de-creased. The negative correlation is more significantly showed with the growing age of pregnancy.关键词
