摘要

Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cel s (hUC- MSCs) trans-fected with nerve growth factor (NGF) on injury recovery of central nerves in rats. Methods The isolated and cultured hUC- MSCs were transfected with adenovirus- mediated NGF gene. Ischemia hypoxia model of central nervous system was in-duced in Wistar rats. The NGF- transfected hUC- MSCs were transplanted in the model rats. The motion function of rats was eval-uated with footprint test and balance beam test. Results The transfected hUC- MSCs successful y expressed NGF protein. The footprint test and balance beam test showed that NGF- transfected hUC- MSCs promoted motor function recovery in rats with is-chemic injury of central nerves. Conclusion NGF- transfected hUC- MSCs can improve damage repair of central nerve in rats.
