Preparation and Photocatalytic Properties of Nb2 O5/CdS Nanoparticles
摘要
Abstract
Nb2 O5/CdS nanoparticles were prepared by a facile precipitation method.The samples were characterized by XRD, TEM and XPS.The photocatalytic activity of Nb2 O5/CdS under visible light irradiation for the degradation of Rhodamine B ( RhB) was investigated.The results showed that the CdS particles, which were scattered on the surface of Nb2 O5 , had a relatively uniform size distribution of around 35 nm. A mass ratio of 20% CdS in the composite photocatalysts demonstrated the best photocatalytic activity.The degradation rate of RhB was approximately 98% under visible light irradiation in 3 h, and the photocatativity was found stable even after 3 cycles.关键词
