The Synthesis of Metal Complexes of meso-tetra [ para-substituent phenyl] Porphyrins and Catalytic Oxidation of p-cymene
摘要
Abstract
Five meso-tetra [ para-substituent phenyl ] porphyrins ( TPPs ) were synthesized from para-substituent benzaldehyde and pyrrole in mixed solvent.The yields of the five TPPs ranged from 23%to 52%.These TPPs could react with metal ion (Co2+, Mn2+, Fe2+) and axial chloride ligand to produce a series of metalloporphyrins with high (90%~98%) yields.These TPPs and metalloporphyrins were characterized by1 H NMR, UV-Vis and infrared spectra.A novel solvent-free green oxidation process of p-cymene catalyzed by metalloporphyrins in the presence of molecular oxygen was developed for the first time.The results show that the T(p-Cl)PPCoCl and T(p-OCH3)PPCoCl presented better activities for p-cymene oxidation reactions than the other metalloporphyrins.关键词
