An Experimental Study on Interior Noise Source Identification of 100%Low-floor Railway Train

Abstract
The 100 % low-floor train is a new type of green urban rail transit. Thus, it has attracted more and more attentions all over the world. But control of the interior noise is more complicated than the other types of trains due to its special car body. Based on field measurements, the characteristics of the interior noise source of the 100%low-floor train are analyzed in this work. The transfer modes of main interior noise sources are identified. Furthermore, counter measures are proposed. The results show that the interior noise is mainly with the frequency of 400~1 250 Hz, which are from vibrations of the floor, roof, vestibule diaphragm, etc. The air-borne sound is the key transfer mode. It is a feasible to reduce the interior noise by controlling the external noise and improving sound insulation of the car body. This work provides a solid basis for further finding interior noise counter measures of the 100%low-floor railway train.关键词
