摘要
Abstract
Temperature effect on mechanical properties of rubber vibration isolators needs to be considered in the vibration isolation system design. In this paper, a set of test fixtures is developed and used to install the rubber vibration isolator to a fatigue testing machine with a temperature control chamber. The dynamic stiffness and damping coefficient of the isolator in 3 different ambient temperatures are calculated based on the experiment data. Both influences of the ambient temperature and the heat generated in vibration test on the mechanical properties of the isolator are discussed. Results show that the stiffness and damping coefficient decrease with the temperature increasing. The test method can be widely used in measuring mechanical properties of rubber vibration isolators in different temperatures.关键词
