摘要
Abstract
Prostate cancer is one of the most common tumor threaten the old men's health in the world. In our coun-try, the incidence of prostate cancer has a tendency of going up obviously. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is now accepted as the best imaging modality for early diagnosis and staging in prostate cancer. MRI has made significant progress in the diagnosis of prostate cancer. But the conventional MRI has its limitations. Magnetic resonance spec-troscopy (MRS) is a kind of non-invasive examination method for detecting prostate metabolism, biochemical levels and quantitative analysis of compounds in vivo. The combination of MRI and MRS can significantly improved MR diagnosis accuracy for prostate cancer. MRS has made up for inadequacy of MRI and provides a broad prospect for the diagnosis of prostate cancer. In this article, we reviewed the technological development of MRS and its qualitative diagnosis, lo-cating, staging, assessing the invasiveness, the role in clinical treatment for prostate cancer.关键词
