Abstract
Objective:To analyze the relationship between the levels of B-type natriuretic peptide(BNP),High-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP) and left cardiac function in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).Method:20 new-diagnosed T2DM patients,30 treated T2DM patients, 20 IGT/IFG patients and 20 health subjects were divided into DM1,DM2,DM0 and control group respectively. The serum levels of BNP and hs-CRP were determined.Meanwhile Left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD) and Left ventricular ejection fraction(EF) were done in all four groups. The relationship between the levels of BNP,hs-CRP and LVEED,EF were analyzed.Result:The levels of BNP,hs-CRP,LVEED and EF in study groups were higher than that in control group(P<0.05).Multiple linear regression analysis for BNP,hs-CRP,and EF showed that BNP,hs-CRP were negatively correlated with EF(r=-0.549,-0.234,P<0.01),otherwise were positively correlated with LVEED(r=0.412,0.342,P<0.01).Conclusion:The BNP and hs-CRP have a good correlation with the left cardiac function, which may be a good prediction of left ventricular function and be used to assess the risk and prognosis of left ventricular failure in patients with T2DM.关键词
